Glenn Weisner and Wayne Samson of
Glenn River Fly Co.

"On-Stream Fly-Fishing Workshop"
designed for individuals as well as small groups. Our
goal is to provide limited access to private waters for instructional and
educational purposes only.
Our
workshops are designed to be very hands-on and informative. We tend to
spend 1 hour in the "classroom setting" and the rest of the day (7
hours) on the stream. We stress learning
the basics of casting, insects, trout tendencies, leaders and tippets, detecting
a strike, setting the hook, playing a trout, landing and netting properly, suitable release methods and overall presentation. We
will fish with a dry fly, nymph, wet fly or streamer and a terrestrial-
carefully outlining the basics of each fly category.
Regardless
of your skill and experience level, we provide all of the necessary gear (rods,
reels, lines, tippets, leaders, flies etc.) to make sure you have the best
possible on-stream experience.
