Shenk's White Minnow is a famous pattern developed by Ed Shenk of Pennsylvania. Ed, along with Charlie Fox and Vince Marinaro are the legendary "river gods" of the great LeTort found in South Central Pennsylvania. Ed has developed other popular patterns including the LeTort Hopper & Cricket and his Sculpin.
We learned to tie this pattern, tying with Ed himself, while fishing the area. Note: we have changed his original pattern. His pattern calls for white wool as a body. Our "Fly-Kit"tm will have white rabbit fur dubbing to be used for the body.
Each "Fly-Kit"tm includes:
