Royal Wulff (Hi-Vis wing) "Fly-Kit"tm
We believe Mr. Lee Wulff was the first tier to incorporate animal hair into wings and tails which forever changed dry fly construction. Today, the “Wulff” is actually considered a style of dry fly and many patterns have been converted. Our fly is actually a combination of the famed Royal Coachman and a Royal Wulff. While the original Royal Wulff pattern calls for white calf hair wings, we have substituted a more modern material called Hi-Vis, which is a water resistant synthetic material. This is a great dry fly pattern. It can be tied in a vast range of sizes and can be fished in big fast water or small slow pocket water. It can be fished high and dry, in the surface film or even with a dropper nymph beneath it. Each "Fly-Kit"tm includes:
