"River god" Fry    "Fly-Kit"^tm

Dennis Potter, known as the "River god" in northern Michigan ahs developed several patterns that he fishes for predominately for trout.  His "Fry" pattern can be tied and marked with a marking pen to imitate small baitfish, fry, and  minnows.   The fly is a Clouser style design and it fishes "hook-up" in the water.   We have added a non-lead barbell eye system tot he fly and a slightly different body material called HT-Braid by Gudebrod. and

If  you fish woolly buggers, clouser minnows and other streamers, give this pattern a try.   We have fished this fly for trout, bass, and other species.
