Madam-X   "Fly-Kit"^tm

We believe Doug Swisher created the original Madam-X pattern which was initially fished on the Bitterroot River in Montana.  Since its origination, the Madam-X has been tied in many different sizes and colors and widely used as a searching pattern or grasshopper representation.  Although the original pattern is tied with deer hair, our pattern and other patterns are tied with elk hair.  Our pattern also differs from the original with the addition of a custom dubbing blend that is added to shape a more defined head cavity.

Our Madam-X kit comes with several colors of materials so you can tie different color combinations. 

Each "Fly-Kit"^tm  includes:

•  a custom tied fly, carefully packaged in a small plastic box.

• color, digital, photographs of the tying steps.

• a letter including material preparation tips & other information.

• premium hooks in our favorite size.
