GR-Sculpin  "Fly-Kit"^tm

Sculpins and leeches have been popular patterns of fly fishers for many years.  Numerous patterns exist, many with very realistic features.   Our pattern is a combination of methods and materials that we have learned from Oliver Edwards of the United Kingdom and Joe of Canada.  Oliver’s engineering efforts helped us design a realistic imitation.  Joe’s unique use of traditional “egg” yarn for his streamers and sculpin patterns lead us to select egg yarn instead of wool or another material- for the head cavity.    Note; our fly is tied “hook up” and will fish this way if weighted during the tying process
