GR-Crayfish  "Fly-Kit"^tm

We believe Dave Whitlock has tied and successfully fished some of the earliest “semi-realistic” crayfish patterns for bass and larger trout.    And, undoubtedly the Clouser minnow tied in the correct colors has been used as well.   Our pattern is a combination of methods and materials that we borrowed from patterns from two of our best fishing friends Oliver Edwards of the United Kingdom and Kevin Ramsey from the Ohio DNR.    Oliver’s engineering efforts helped us design a realistic looking imitation and Kevin’s simplified “fishing” design helped us convert Oliver’s “show fly” into a “fishing fly”.

Each "Fly-Kit"^tm  includes:

•  a custom tied fly, carefully packaged in a small plastic box.

• color, digital, photographs of the tying steps.

• a letter including material preparation tips & other information.

• premium hooks in our favorite size.

• all the necessary materials, hand selected, to tie eleven additional flies.
